Laurel received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame where she studied French language and literature. She received her juris doctorate from Loyola University Chicago’s School of Law. During her time there, she clerked for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, and was a founding member of the school’s alternative dispute resolution society.
